Antony Alex, Founder & CEO – Rainmaker with expert panelists from diverse fields of legal, ethics & compliance, and PoSH, had a very informative & engaging session on 24th August, between 11.30 am – 1 pm. Peppered with interesting topics of discussion, and poll questions, the webinar kept over 100 viewers hooked for an hour and a half and had an interesting ending with Q&A. To begin with, Antony & the Panelists mulled over whether the application of PoSH Awareness & Compliance needed a dedicated push concerning the blue-collar workers. It was agreed over examples that the penetration of PoSH awareness was poor. The panelists emphasized that employers & corporates must ramp up awareness campaigns and also listed the barriers to the dissemination of awareness & redressal mechanisms among blue-collar workers and how they could be overcome. The endeavor definitely has to start with a complete cultural change where employers must own up to their responsibilities of catering to a safe and ethical workplace for their employees
