In Episode 1 of this 4 part series, we will discuss about the LGBTQ+ community and what are some of the best practices and policy measures at our disposal to become more diverse and inclusive to address the key challenges being faced by this community in India. The aim of this webinar is to increase awareness and understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and highlight some of the challenges faced by this community in addition to various community empowerment campaigns. Our expert, Mr. Suresh Ramdas works as an LGBTQ+ advocate for inclusion in the corporate space, as an out gay man who is the winner of Mr. Gay India 2019 and is Chair of HP India Pride BIN along with his full time role of Global Training Lead for HP Inc. Suresh will share his personal and professional journey with us, before and after he came out. He also makes a compelling business case on how corporates can increase productivity with LGBTQ+ friendly policies, while reminding us of how much productivity is lost on account of not being able to share one’s identity.
