Role: AVP – Legal & Compliance (PQE 5 to 7 years, Law Graduate)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Training: The Consultant will be groomed as a trainer in all relevant subjects related to compliance. They will contribute to the development and delivery of compliance training programs for clients, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Content Creation: The Consultant will create high-quality content for various mediums, including but not limited to blogs, research papers, social media, learning management systems (LMS), and ad hoc assignments. The content will be accurate, relevant, and engaging to the target audience. Additionally, the Consultant will offer guidance and support to other members of the legal function in content development.
  • Legal Research: The Consultant will conduct comprehensive legal research to analyze legal issues and provide guidance to the team at Rainmaker on legal matters and/or queries. They will stay updated with relevant case law, statutes, and regulatory changes that may affect the organization.
  • Compliance Product Development: Market research will be conducted by the Consultant to understand the current and prospective clients' needs and regulatory requirements. Based on the research findings, the provider will develop compliance products and solutions that align with market demands and meet regulatory standards, assisting the client in achieving compliance objectives.
  • External Member Services Management: The Consultant will manage external member services on behalf of the client, ensuring that these services adhere to the organization's standards and expectations. They will establish and foster positive relationships with external service providers and all involved stakeholders, effectively resolving any issues that may arise during the course of the engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Role: Manager/AVP – Culture Consulting (Culture Products)

As Manager - Culture Consulting, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of culture consulting services provided to our clients. Your primary focus will be on helping organizations develop, implement, and sustain a positive and impactful organizational culture through Rainmaker’s culture solutions. You will work closely with our Corporate Solutions team to interact with clients and understand their unique challenges and opportunities, provide expert guidance, and design and facilitate culture change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support for Client Engagement & Revenue Generation (Culture Products):
    • Act as the subject matter expert for clients seeking culture consulting solutions.
    • Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' current culture, values, and challenges.
    • Collaborate with clients to identify desired cultural outcomes and formulate interventions and strategies that position Rainmaker as a partner of choice.
  • Culture Analysis and Strategy:
    • Perform comprehensive cultural assessments and audits to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
    • Develop customized culture transformation interventions and strategies aligned with the client's vision, mission, and goals.
    • Provide insights and data-driven recommendations for fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Facilitation:
    • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and other activities.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
    • Integrate DEI principles into culture transformation plans.
    • Advise on DEI strategies and best practices.
  • Thought Leadership:
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to culture consulting and organizational development.
    • Contribute to thought leadership materials, whitepapers, and case studies to showcase Rainmaker’s expertise.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Nurture strong and long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and providing ongoing support.

Desired background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in culture consulting, organizational development, or a related area. Client facing experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with diverse stakeholders.

Role: External Member on Internal Committees (ICs) - PoSH Law

Our workshops and e-modules on White Collar Crimes, PoSH Law, Securities Law, Information Security, Technology Media and Telecommunications (TMT) and other topics, help organizations implement the highest standards of corporate governance and conduct.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking lawyers with substantial experience to be empanelled as external members on the Internal Committees (ICs) of organizations. The professional should possess a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities associated with serving as an external member of an Internal Committee, in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013.

Important aspects of the role:

  • Provide guidance and support to the IC in evaluating complaint data and evidence, assisting in determining the appropriate course of action.
  • Ensure timely submission of annual compliance reports to the relevant authorities by the IC.
  • Assist in conducting meetings, conciliation, or inquiry proceedings in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Offer guidance in arriving at final recommendations and prepare comprehensive reports based on findings.
  • Attend all quarterly meetings initiated by the Presiding Officer.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Preferably 3-7 years of experience with a strong understanding of the PoSH Law and expertise in handling related cases.
  • Proven track record in effectively addressing and resolving workplace sexual harassment issues, conducting impartial inquiries, and ensuring appropriate redressal.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining a gender-inclusive and unbiased approach throughout the process, ensuring fair treatment for all parties involved.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity while collaborating with stakeholders.
