Antony is the Chief Executive Officer and member of the founding team at Rainmaker.
Antony started his career with ICICI Bank in 1998. He moved to set up Kochhar & Co’s Mumbai office. After 5 years of rapid growth and establishing Kochhar & Co as a premier firm in Mumbai’s competitive law firm landscape, in 2006 he took up the challenge of being part of the core founding team at Pangea3, the world’s largest and most successful LPO.
His leadership saw Pangea3 grow quickly from 10+ lawyers and engineers to over 1000 professionals, delivering high quality services to Global General Counsel of Fortune 500 companies as well as top tier law firms, from the US, Europe, Australia and the APAC region.
At Pangea3, Antony was tasked with building out and overseeing operations as well as developing business in and opening up the European, APAC and Australian markets. He was also the “evangelist” and convinced Indian lawyers of the viability of LPO as an alternative career option. The LPO business saw explosive growth and Pangea3 was ultimately sold to Thomson Reuters in November 2010.
Eshan heads the products and technology division and is a member of the founding team at Rainmaker. Eshan is also the lead on technology optimization and implementation in the consulting division, where he has developed an expertise in automation, CRM, Practice Management System, Document Management System, knowledge management and digital marketing. He engages with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions to enhance business efficiency.
Prior to joining Rainmkaer, Eshan worked with the Managing Partner’s Office at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, where he led the development and implementation of software products for knowledge management, financial management, business development, content marketing and document assembly. Previously, he practiced as an attorney with Amarchand Mangaldas where his corporate practice covered M&A, advising on inbound and outbound investments, business acquisition and restructuring.
Eshan combines his experience as an attorney, understanding of lawyer behaviors and technology to deliver comprehensive business value to his clients.
Eshan is an alumnus of N.L.S.I.U., Bangalore.
Padmini heads the consulting division at Rainmaker and is a member of the founding team at Rainmaker.
She has over 14 years of work experience in the field of business strategy, organisational governance, process improvement, efficiency management, financial management and marketing communications (branding & PR). She brings with her a deep understanding of professional service firms in India, having worked with the likes of Group M, HDFC Ltd. Accenture and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.
In her last role with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, she was a part of the Managing Partners Strategy team and was responsible for managing firm profitability, business planning, target setting and process compliance. She also had the additional responsibility of handling PR and media relations for the mother brand and the managing partner.
Padmini is an alumnus of MICA, Ahmedabad, and holds an executive programme certificate from Harvard Business School in “Transforming and Managing Professional service firms in India”.
Priya is the Chief Financial Officer and member of the founding team at Rainmaker. She is responsible for the overall financial management of Rainmaker, as well as human resources & administration. As the company continues its trajectory, she plays a crucial role in managing Rainmaker's growth.
She has extensive operational and financial experience in both the private and public companies in India as well as in the US. As a CFO with emerging, growth and mid-market companies, Priya’s experience spans everything from helping to launch start-up enterprises to managing finance for mid-size companies.
Priya was formerly the Financial Controller at ABG Infralogistics Limited, a publicly listed enterprise, where she successfully increased investor value and guided the company through its financial crisis. She also served as the VP Finance at Pangea3, where she played a key role in growth of Pangea3 and was instrumental in improving profitability, in a span of 3 years before it was acquired by Thomson Reuters. Priya also has significant experience of working in the US with companies like Siebel Systems Inc. and Providian Financial Corporation.
Priya is a Chartered Accountant from India and holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Illinois State University.
Shonali is Vice President at Rainmaker and is responsible for business development in south of India.
She started her career with philanthropic funding organization, India Foundation for the Arts after which she was a trainee on the desk with The Economic Times in Bengaluru. She also had a short stint with Chicago-based asset management firm Thomas White's India office as a qualitative research analyst tracking US companies. Shonali joined media conglomerate Network18, to form the founding team for US-based monthly publication 'Entrepreneur' in India covering entrepreneurship and was the sole reporter for the magazine in the south until 2014.
She then went back to The Economic Times as Special Correspondent for Emerging Business Vertical in Bengaluru tracking startups until 2016 when the desire to explore life on the other side kicked in.
Shonali is alumni of Lady Sriram College for Women, University of Delhi with bachelors degree in History (Hons) and holds a PG Diploma from Asian College of Journalism, in Chennai.
Sanjay is Senior Vice President with Rainmaker and leads the Corporate Solutions function across the country.
Sanjay began his career with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd, where he was part of the Client Servicing team. Thereafter, Sanjay joined Kelly Services, a global staffing solutions company, as a Consultant. In his 11 years stint with Kelly Services, Sanjay donned various hats including Sales, Operations, Turn Key Assignments and COE.
Sanjay successfully led the Sales function for Kelly in West India and ultimately managed the National Sales portfolio. He was also part of the core team that launched the Scientific practice for Kelly in India and led the Scientific and Consumer practice for Kelly, nationally.
Vasuki heads institutional relations and is a member of the founding team at Rainmaker.
Vasuki is a regular speaker at conferences where she speaks on gender sensitization and has published legal articles in American law journals.
She is a member of the New York State Bar and started her career at the Human Rights Watch in New York with a one year fellowship. A researcher in the Terrorism/Counter-Terrorism Division, her focus included, drone strikes and other targeted killings, and counterterrorism policies at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).Post her fellowship Vasuki worked at the UNSC as a research assistant for two years. While at the UN, she worked extensively on Counter-Terrorism strategy and policy.
Post her stint at the UN, Vasuki started working with the renowned member of the International Law Commission and Queen’s Counsel Sir Micheal Wood with whom she has represented cases before the International Court of Justice and the International Tribunal of the Law of the Sea and has practiced International Arbitration.
Vasuki is an alumnus of New York University School of Law.
